Pittsburg Beautiful recently voted to extend its urn program to cover phase 2 of the downtown revitalization program. In doing so, the group is seeking individuals and businesses to purchase the needed 10 new urns. Currently there are 26 urns stretching along Broadway starting at 2nd Street on the south to the intersection at 8th Street on the north. The addition of the 10 new urns would place the planters at the 9th, 10th, and 11th street intersections. The would complete the downtown enhancement program that goes from Immigrant Park on the south to the proposed Rails to Trails project on the north.
